From the nacelle to the boardroom.
Twenty-four years in wind. The early years were spent hands-on with the machine — turbine work in the field, in the nacelle, learning what fails, why it fails, and what it takes to put it back into production.
The second chapter was leadership of major corrective and lifting operations across European wind fleets — gearbox, generator and drivetrain campaigns, blade work, crane and lifting execution. The discipline that decides whether a fleet protects its design life or quietly bleeds value.
Today, founder of Kjær Wind-Advisory AB — putting that experience directly at the service of asset owners and operators, without the conflicts of interest that come with selling parts, services or contracts.
And — alongside the advisory work — co-owner of Econergi AB, operating a fleet of 12 Vestas V42 turbines. The same questions I work through with clients are the questions I sign off on for my own assets.

Technical Due Diligence
Independent, owner-side technical review.
I provide Technical Due Diligence for owners and investors who need a clear, operationally grounded view of an asset before they commit capital, approve a major component decision, or take a fleet in-house.
My role is to sit on the owner's side of the table — reviewing turbines, contracts, O&M history, spare parts strategy, and lifecycle risk from the perspective of someone who has operated the same machines and signed the same contracts.

Skin in the game
Co-owner and operator of a 12-turbine V42 fleet.
Through Econergi AB I am part-owner of a fleet of twelve Vestas V42 turbines — a long-life, post-warranty, in-house asset base. Spare parts strategy, tooling, major component decisions, lifecycle planning: not theory. Daily operating reality, with my own capital on the line.
When I advise an owner on transitioning away from OEM dependency, the recommendation is the same one I have already executed — and continue to execute — on my own machines.
